Senior Software Engineer-Backend Lead

We are looking for a full-time Software Engineer-Backend who can work remotely.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Drive the technology

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of our web application’s backend services

• Implement new features, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions

• Oversee integration and support of new AI components

• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security

Lead the team

• Coordinate between Product team and development teams

• Break down product requirements into actionable technical tasks

• Facilitate coordination within the team and resolve technical blockers

• Provide technical guidance and code reviews

• Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them grow

💼 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on web applications

• 2+ years of experience in leading engineering teams

• Strong proficiency in Python and web frameworks (Django)

• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platform (S3, EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, etc)

• Experience with RESTful API design and development (FastAPI)

• Familiarity with microservices architecture (Kubernetes)

• Experience working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL) in production Knowledge of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL)

• Experience with cloud services for web hosting and databases

• Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations

• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools

• Have you successfully architected and scaled backend systems that handle intricate data models and complex business logic?

• Do you thrive on leading and collaborating with diverse, geographically dispersed engineering teams?
